Founded in 1967, KLJ is the Largest Manufacturer and the Market Leader in Plasticizers & Polymer Compounds in South Asia, including being the World's Largest Manufacturer of Secondary Plasticizer - Chlorinated Paraffin.
Over the last decade, KLJ has strategically diversified beyond its core chemical portfolio by entering into the Benzyl Derivatives manufacturing segment and commissioning a joint venture State-of-the-Art Chlor-Alkali complex in Qatar, involving an investment of over USD 125 million. Furthermore, KLJ completed its backward integration with a World-Class Integrated Complex featuring 300,000 tpa of Plasticizers and 100,000 tpa of Phthalic Anhydride capacity.
Most recently, the Group has expanded into the Consumer and Nutrition segment with the commissioning of Edible Oil operations and a Plant-Based Protein Manufacturing Facility. Today KLJ operates plants in India, Thailand, and Qatar, with combined capacity of more than 2.3 million tpa and overall capex of ₹3,500 crore (USD 390 million).
